Groceries, things to buy, to-dos and ideas, kept with the people you live with. Type a list or say it, tick it off in the shop, and see what the others add as they add it.
Everything a household writes down
Write “2 lemons, milk, eggs x12” and you get three items, each amount on the right. Commas or new lines split them, in English or Romanian, with the number in front or behind.
In the shop, the whole row is the button. The dash bends into a tick with a small burst, a line draws through, and the item moves down to Bought, out of your way.
Tap the mic and talk the way you would to someone heading to the shop. Each pause starts a new item, “and” or “și” split them too, and you see them all before they go in.
Paste a recipe into a groceries list, or give it the link, a photo or a scan. Catastif keeps just the ingredients, each with a clean name, its amount and the rest as a note, and shows them to you before they go in.
Invite someone to a list through iCloud. What they add shows up as they add it, with their initial on it, and what they tick off moves to Bought on your phone too.
Tick things off in the shop and Catastif learns the days and times you go. A couple of hours before your next trip it reminds you, with what's on the list, and the home keeps the rest in view: to-dos due, a birthday coming up, and what you usually buy by now.
Shopping around 18:00? 7 to get: Milk, Eggs, Sourdough bread and 4 more.
When the shop's done, Complete puts what you ticked off into History, on a calendar, and the list starts fresh or goes to Archived. Your Month counts it up: how much you bought, how many trips, the day you usually go and what you buy most.
Pick metric or US in Settings and amounts show your way, while the list keeps what was typed. Weights and volumes convert exactly; spoons and cups become grams through a typical weight for that ingredient, so they're marked ≈.
Pick what a list is for and it brings the right tools: amounts and aisles for groceries, links for things to buy, dates and people for to-dos, votes for ideas.
Both hands on the trolley, the list on your wrist. Tap a row to tick it off, say what you forgot, and leave the phone at home: the Watch syncs on its own.
A real iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch app, made with Apple's own tools, that stays out of the way until you need it.
The + brings your usuals, then everything you've added before, by aisle. Pick several and add them at once; typing two letters offers them too.
Hold an item and drag it where you want it, under another aisle too. The order holds on every device, and for everyone on the list.
Right to tick off, left to edit or delete. Bought items wait below: hide them, or complete the list to put them in History.
“The green one”, “ask for the thin cut”: a line under the item, for whoever's shopping.
A link in a note shows its page's title, in the list's colour, and opens with a tap. Add a link as an item and it takes the page's name.
Each list gets a soft colour and a symbol you pick, so you find it at a glance.
A list for a birthday or an event, from Contacts or typed as “Ana's birthday 12 March”. It counts down, reminds you a week and a day before, and keeps what you gave last time.
Tick things off from a widget on the Home Screen or the Mac, see what's left on the Lock Screen or your watch face, or ask Siri to “Add to Groceries in Catastif”.
A light tap when you add, a firmer one when you tick off, on iPhone and Apple Watch.
Today, History and your lists in the sidebar, and a field where Return adds an item and stays ready for the next.
Lists beside their items, with a keyboard or without.
Following your device, or the one you pick, and always dark on the Watch.
Catastif has no server and no account. Your lists live on your devices and in your own iCloud, shared only with the people you invite, and the listening and the thinking happen on your device.
No subscription, no ads, nothing held back. If Catastif earns its place, leave a one-time tip in Settings. It unlocks nothing but a Hero badge, and keeps the app going.
The ledger a household kept: the one book where everything was written down, from what to buy to what was owed. Catastif is that book, kept together.
